Cover Design
I have over 10 years of experience as a professional graphic designer. I offer custom cover design services (you tell me about your story and we work together to create something unique and special to the story you’re telling), as well as premades. Regardless of the saying “don’t judge a book by it’s cover”, we do. Your book cover plays a HUGE part in getting readers interested in your book. I’d love to help create that initial selling point.
Logos & Branding
Designing logos and branding for someone is one of my favorite things to do. It scratches a different part of my brain. From concepting to picking fonts and a color scheme to putting the final touches on the branding, I love all of it. I offer a full logo and branding suite. Meaning you get any file type (pdf, png, jpg, eps, svg, etc.) and color variation (full color, all black, all white, grayscale, and any other color variations) you may need.
Website Design
Looking to get a webiste made so you can have an online store to sell your books and promote your work? I can help with that! The website you’re looking at right now is an example of my work, but I’ve done more in the past. They’re not author/book related (at this time) but I do have the skills and knowledge to help create something clean, beautiful and functional for you.
Social Media Content Creation & Management
One of my “side hustles” as a full time graphic designer is doing Social Media Management and Content Creation for a variety of small businesses. I’d love to help you as an author with content creation and social media management. Much like how we judge books by their covers, we also judge books based on an author’s social media. It just is what it is. And I want to help! I want to help create unique, fun, professional looking social media graphics for you to post on your profile to help get readers interested in reading your books! The number of books I’ve saved to my TBR from seeing one post about it on social media is very high. Let me help you sell your books by taking content creation/social media management off of your plate and add it to mine. Graphic design is my passion and I have the knowledge, skills and experience to back it up.
Page Formatting
Looking for help getting your book formatted? I can help format for print, e-book, and special editions. I have formatted books in the past. This is another graphic design skill that scratches a different part of my brain and I enjoy doing it. Arranging the words on the page, adding text bubbles and other graphics, and making sure it passes my “Design OCD” check is fun for me and hiring me to do it for you would take one more thing off of your plate.
However, it does take a good chunk of time, so my prices may be steeper than other prices you find.
